Gravity drainage

The traditional draining system for rooftops

The gravity drainage is the traditional and up to that point most used method for the drainage of flatroofs.

With this method, every roof gully is connected to the sewer system with its own downpipe.

This kind of drainage requires the expulsion of a continuous slope, even for the sewer system drainage line.

This means an enormous space capacity for the many downpipes of the drainage system, especially at large properties.
